Located 35 kilometers east of Angoulême, on the foothills of the Massif Central, Écuras is a little corner of geological paradise belonging to Limousin, but bathed in the influence of Périgord thanks to the Tardoire valley which separates the Charente of the Dordogne. Its wooded, hilly and green landscapes, where Limousin cows graze peacefully, attract French and foreign visitors.
