From the Tiny Journal of June 10, 2026
Dear residents of Écuras,
For the past three months, the new municipal team and I have been familiarizing ourselves with the premises and the files. We are moving forward together with a great group energy.
Our first action was to find a simple and effective way to work internally and communicateWe are now using a new tool. free, developed by the State, for small municipalities, called La Suite Territoriale (digital workspace).
Some of you may have noticed that the town's Facebook page is more active and now includes more information about life in Écuras and the surrounding area. The website is back online and will be updated soon.
Regarding the projects, we launched the recruitment of a technical agent full-time municipal position and we are starting to receive applications. The position is scheduled to open for September.
The repair of some paths has begun, the mowing of the paths is almost finished, the hedges have been trimmed and the The timely inspection on paved roads will take place in September..
We will also be reviewing the proposals ofImprovements and safety measures for the departmental road in Châtain-Besson with the Charente Departmental Planning Agency.
At the beginning of July, we will meet with the Vime association, so that they can present their solidarity carpooling solution deployed in the Périgord Vert region.
The potential buyer of the restaurant wants to see this through. We are in regular contact with him, and we will keep you informed as soon as there are any concrete developments.
The entire municipal team is delighted to be involved in the life of our beautiful town of Écuras.
I am present at the Town Hall every morning (except when I have a meeting outside). All the deputy mayors are present on Friday afternoons.
